I’m getting tired of posting about how Utahns don’t care for animals, but stories keep popping up about animals being abused and neglected. Recently, 17 lop eared Angora rabbits were found wandering on Highway 91.

Keep in mind, that Angora rabbits are not “wild” or native rabbits to Utah. These were someone’s pets that they simply let go. The rabbits were not in good shape – their fur was matted and dirty, and many were injured, according to KSL. Utah, come on. Pass Henry’s Law and give the animals in Utah some protection. There has been enough unpunished animal cruelty – it’s time something was done to make these animal abusers think twice. Let’s protect our animals, Utah!
