Utah finally has one of the best restaurants in the nation in our state! The Cheesecake Factory, the ninth largest restaurant company in the U.S., opened its doors in Utah on Thursday, November 1 at 5:00 pm. The restaurant is located at the Fashion Place Mall in Murray, next to Nordstrom.
Utahns are obviously excited about this new addition as the wait times have steadily been about 2 hours or longer since opening day. Although they don’t take reservations, people seem to think it’s worth the wait.
With over 30 cheesecake varieties and over 100 menu options including pasta, sandwiches, fish, steak, and chicken dishes, The Cheesecake Factory offers a little “something for everyone!” They even have pumpkin cheesecake for the holidays. If you’re watching your weight, order one of their “weight management” salads or 6 carbs cheesecake.
You can check out their menu online and visit them for lunch or dinner. If things go well, there is talk that they may open another restaurant in Salt Lake City.

I went opening weekend…it was awesome, but the wait was like 3 hours, depending on when you went. The nice thing is, you can go shopping when you’re waiting to eat. It’s VERY convenient that Nordstrom is right next to it!
