Apparently a 61-year-old lady sick of constant library shushing fired a gun in the Provo library on Tuesday.

Surprisingly that’s the not the most bizarre part of this story (we don’t like to be quiet either):

The library was not evacuated. Hundreds of people use the 300,000 volume, two-story library on a normal day, Nelson said.

Yes, you read the correctly – the library was not evacuated. So some lady flips out, shoots a gun in a public library and not only do they not evacuate it, the reason is because a lot of people use it! Good thing Library Director Gene Nelson doesn’t work at Disney Land!
