Utah Gossip

In reference to an earlier post about weddings in Utah, it turns out I had a roomate get engaged over the weekend. She’s super excited, but I think she’s crazy because she’s been dating the guy for only like two weeks. Ok, maybe longer, but it seems like that. Whatever. I guess it’s normal around here, but I think I’ll date whoever I marry for, like 4 or 5 years. I don’t like to rush into anything.

At any rate, she’s super excited because she found her dress at this store in the University Mall, and it’s really pretty. I hope she finds some nice looking bridesmaid dresses - I don’t like taffeta too much. She told me that she finally picked out her bridal ring engagement set, and she said it’s really pretty. She said she found it online, which is kind of cool, because she didn’t have to go shopping at a bunch of jewelry stores, where they try to sell you all this extra stuff you don’t really need. I think when I finally get engaged, I’m doing all of my shopping online. It’s so much easier, and I don’t have to worry about pushy salesmen.

Hopefully her wedding will turn out ok - it’s only a month away, and she has a ton to do. At least she saved herself some time by doing some shopping online.
