As reported by KSL, police raided the Spencer’s store in the Layton Hills mall after receiving multiple complaints about indecency. 15 boxes full of “stuff” (sex toys, games, food, etc.) were taken from the store because mall patrons were complaining about the products. Authorities are currently investigating to determine if any of the questionable items were sold to minors.

Now, if explicit or indecent items were sold to minors, that is against state statutes and Spencer’s employees should face the consequences…but, if not…give me a break! If edible panties and furry handcuffs don’t float your boat, you don’t have to go in the store!

Mr. McFarlane should have (and could have) handled the situation any other way – filing a complaint with animal control, talking with the owners – anything other than stabbing the poor dog. He can’t claim that he snapped, either, because he was obviously waiting with a knife for the dog to stick his nose through the fence.

This is such a sick story – I don’t understand what would make someone do something like this. We’ve all heard annoying dogs barking all night, but seriously, who stabs the dog in the face? Work out the problem with the owners – don’t attack the animal. Stabbing the dog only makes you look like a crazy moron. Of course, someone that would do something like this probably is a crazy moron.

Once again, we need to pass Henry’s Law. Go to HelpUsHelpThem.org, and sign the petition. Animal torture should be a felony in Utah.

Daniel Thompson made a name for himself and Flix Club by editing sexually explicit out of popular movies. Both Thompson and Isaac Lifferth (who we think worked for Thompson at the video store) were arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse and unlawful sexual activity with 14-year-old (a sure sign of desperation, no doubt).

Apparently Thompson and Lifferth paid two 14 year old girls for sexual favors. The girls met the men through another friend. The girls performed sex acts on Lifferth for $20, who then introduced the girls to Thompson. Police say the girls were again paid $20 for performing sexual acts on Thompson in his Orem edited-movie store. Both men claim they believed the girls were 18…(riiiiight).

In addition, after raiding the Thompson’s store, police said they found a very large stash of pornographic material.

There are so many things wrong with this scenario I don’t even know where to begin.

The driver insists the dog jumped out of a window after he hit a bump in the road though police say they saw otherwise and the dog was deliberately thrown.

I only post about this because Utah has some of the most lenient animal cruelty laws in the nation and “Henry’s Bill,” a legislative proposal that would make deliberate animal torture a third degree felony, has been tabled again.

Apparently, they then began arguing and the roommate claims that Hobbs held a knife to his chest and grabbed their dog. He wrestled the knife away and Hobbs ran to the roof. She’s now in jail and on suicide watch.

This obviously shows the strong correlation between abusing animals and abusing people. We need laws to protect ourselves from these crazy people!

This is NOT normal behavior! Kids have been taught to treat animals without any kindness, and many people here have the (medieval) theory that animals don’t have any type of feelings. Yes, they can feel pain. Stomping a pheasant to death is a cruel, terrible way for the poor bird to die, yet kids did it without any thoughts that it might be a terrible and cruel thing to do. Killing and torturing animals is not funny or acceptable!

Utah needs to pass Henry’s Law, a law that would make animal cruelty a felony. (Currently in Utah, harming and abusing animals is just a misdemeanor, if it’s even prosectured.) Utah needs to get out of the dark ages, and work to protect animals. There are strong correlations between people abusing animals and then moving on to abuse people.

This low ranking is an embarassment to Utah. We need to step it up, and take care of our animals. They deserve better from us.

His fate has not yet been decided as to how much time he will serve, however, he is facing life in prison. We’ll post more info as we get it.

Now, I think it’s nice that Allred found someone to get her name back in the news, however, I think it’s pretty lame for her to claim Orem police are abusing this woman for not watering her lawn. The real problem came when the woman would not cooperate with police, and resisted arrest.

When things like this happen, no matter the age, the individual will be arrested. I think this should teach Ms. Perry a lesson – no matter how lame the charges are (i.e. abuse of a lawn), cooperate, and things will go much, much smoother. This was a very small thing when the police officer arrived to issue a citation, and it was made into a much bigger deal than it should have been.

The moral of the story? Don’t abuse your lawn. And don’t talk back to the cops. And if you do, try to look as pathetic as possible, and maybe a big-shot attorney will fly in to get their name in the news be your friend.

Dell is someone that constantly craves attention, and pulls off stunts, perhaps to keep his name in the news when he feels he doesn’t get enough attention. This time, he buzzed a dinner cruise ship that was cruising around the Great Salt Lake.

KSL.com offers pictures and a story about it – Dell claims he didn’t do anything illegal. Just stupid. Ok, so maybe he didn’t admit to doing something stupid, but it was. I gotta wonder about his ability to make reasonable decisions…his intelligence has been called into question several time before, and once again, here we go.

Honestly, I think Super Dell forgot to take his meds, and he thought he was Superman. Way to go! Just don’t hurt anyone else in your idiotic endeavors. Best of luck to you – we hope you don’t end up with a Darwin Award, but with your current plan of action, it looks like you just might.
