Everyone is familiar with the store Spencer’s Gifts, found in shopping malls throughout the nation, right? Admit it, you used to go in there when you were fifteen with all your friends and giggle about all the ridiculous crap sold there.
As reported by KSL, police raided the Spencer’s store in the Layton Hills mall […]

Man Stabs Dog for Barking
February 6th, 2008 · 4 Comments
Ok, this is a totally lame story. Apparently, Joshua McFarlane got fed up over his neighbor’s dog barking, so he waited with a butcher knife until the dog stuck his nose through a gap in the fence, and stabbed it in the face. The dog required stitches to close the wound and stop the bleeding.
Mr. […]

Flix Club Owner Busted…
January 25th, 2008 · 5 Comments
We all know that edited movie clubs are all the rage here in Utah. So I find it rather ironic (and hilarious) that the owner of one such franchise (Flix Club Videos) was arrested for sex crimes (KSL broke the story).
Daniel Thompson made a name for himself and Flix Club by editing sexually […]

Animal Cruelty
December 28th, 2007 · 1 Comment
I saw this story on KSL about yet another sick incident of animal cruelty. An 18 year old driver threw his boxer-lab mix out the sunroof during a high-speed chase with police. The dog limped off the road after suffering a broken pelvis and severe road rash all over its body.
The […]

November 16th, 2007 · 3 Comments
Continuing along the lines of our last post on Utah’s weak Animal Protection Laws, apparently a woman named Christina Hobbs was arrested yesterday in Salt Lake City for some odd behavior with animals and her roommate. Sadly, she decapitated her pet rabbit and showed the severed head to her roommate saying, “I finally did […]

Utah: Weakest Animal Protection Laws
November 13th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Utah was ranked by the Animal Legal Defense Fund as having the weakest animal abuse laws in the entire country. (Right at the bottom with Utah was Alaska, Arkansas, Kentucky, and North Dakota.) This is unacceptable, Utah! Nearly every day, we hear a story of high school kids pulling pranks such as stealing and killing […]

Betty Perry, the 70 year old woman that landed herself in hot water for resisting arrest had a court appearance today, and had a big attorney on her side - Gloria Allred. Allred bashed Orem police saying they’re picking on a poor old lady.

Super Dell a Super Idiot?
September 11th, 2007 · No Comments
Dell Schanze, owner of the now defunct Totally Awesome Computers, is once again in the news.
Dell is someone that constantly craves attention, and pulls off stunts, perhaps to keep his name in the news when he feels he doesn’t get enough attention. This time, he buzzed a dinner cruise ship that was cruising around the […]

Help Find Camille Cleverly
September 7th, 2007 · No Comments
For the past week, a local BYU student, Camille Cleverly, has been missing. Her bicycle was discovered today - a couple had cut the lock and stolen it last week, but then realized it was probably Camille’s bike, and turned it into police.
She’s a beautiful blonde haired, blue-eyed young woman - she’s 22 years old, […]
