While it is still officially unknown why exactly Kirsten checked in (though speculation and rumors about her alcohol issues continue to swirl), we hope she gets the help she needs!

Let’s hope so…

Frankly, this does not come as much of a surprise…Kirsten has long had a reputation of partying and is often referred to by bloggers (such as Mr. Hilton himself) as “Drunkst.”

Wow…didn’t see that one coming. Somehow I don’t think we’ll see Ms. Mendes gallivanting up and down the Wasatch front like La Lohan did.

The annual film event was star-studded as usual, with a huge turnout of Hollywood’s elite braving the bitter temperatures. Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron, Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Robert DeNiro, and a myriad of other A-listers all premiered movies.

Other celebrities (those more of a B, C, and even D list status) were also in attendance including Kim (ghetto booty) Kardashian, Paris (why is she famous?) Hilton, Audrina Partridge (of The Hills fame), and the guy who played Steve on Beverly Hills 90210 (does anyone really remember his name?).

Unfortunately, all the Utah Gossip staffers were on assignment during the festival so regrettably we do not have any exclusive celebrity interviews or pictures to share with our devoted readers. Maybe next year.

This mishap kept Kelly from reaching his Chicago court date and he now has a warrant out for his arrest.  Currently the warrant is not being enforced, but the judge says he will begin enforcing it if Kelly does not show up for his court date tomorrow.

This year I think I’m going to head to the slopes first.  And by slopes I mean inner-tubing slopes.  I’m no where nearly good enough to ski and I love being towed up the hill in my inner-tube.

During Sundance last year the only celebrity I saw was Tom Arnold, and I have to say it was pretty anticlimactic.  My reaction amounted to nothing more than “Hey, that’s Tom Arnold.”  This year I’m hoping that I can run into someone more interesting.  Shia LaBeouf is at the top of my list.

With her father, George Osmond, passing away last week, her recent divorce to her second husband, Brian Blosil announced, and her recent fainting on the show “Dancing With the Stars,” the 48-year-old singer seems to be facing some major struggles at this time.

Maybe she’ll be lucky enough to make another cut on the show “Dancing with the Stars” and become the next Utahn to win the competition, as long as she doesn’t “get winded” again. Good luck Marie!

Dell is someone that constantly craves attention, and pulls off stunts, perhaps to keep his name in the news when he feels he doesn’t get enough attention. This time, he buzzed a dinner cruise ship that was cruising around the Great Salt Lake.

KSL.com offers pictures and a story about it – Dell claims he didn’t do anything illegal. Just stupid. Ok, so maybe he didn’t admit to doing something stupid, but it was. I gotta wonder about his ability to make reasonable decisions…his intelligence has been called into question several time before, and once again, here we go.

Honestly, I think Super Dell forgot to take his meds, and he thought he was Superman. Way to go! Just don’t hurt anyone else in your idiotic endeavors. Best of luck to you – we hope you don’t end up with a Darwin Award, but with your current plan of action, it looks like you just might.

Was it so she could buy booze without being photographed? Ok, I know that was harsh, but seriously, I think it’s lame that Harmons (if this story is true) kicked out their regular patrons that come back time and again to accommodate Ms. Lohan. I hope this story isn’t true…but it sounds pretty plausable. Lame!
