In Utah, there are a ton of companies out there that claim to let you make millions from home, doing nothing. Any smart person knows that if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Honestly, it’s hard to take many companies seriously because there are so many shady ones out there.

One concept, however, that I find plausible, is the idea of having a website, and drop shipping the items you sell from your website. It keeps your overhead next to nothing, and if you can do a good job of marketing your site, you’ll be able to do well. The nice thing is there are some good companies in Utah that can give you that opportunity, such as Doba.

One thing that I think is important, however, is sticking with an industry you understand and are interested in. If you know a lot about designer clothes, then it would be be good for you to sell those online, but your success would probably be lower if you tried to sell tools and machinery, or something you knew a lot less about.

On that same note, however, your success will be even higher if you find a niche market – one that’s not super saturated, and one that has good margins.

Getting involved with a company that can be a drop shipper for you will give you a chance to make some money from home, if you’re willing to work hard. Just don’t go for anything that sounds too good to be true, because it probably is.
