Maybe she was just tired of the cliché of robbing convenience stores, maybe she assumed the word “salon” meant they had more cash than they actually did, maybe she didn’t have the complicated machinery (read: gun) for any other heist. For whatever reason, a woman recently robbed a Murray Tanning Salon with a knife.

I guess I’m not really in any position to judge another person who is really, really in need of cash, but a tanning salon? Honestly, how much cash does one of those usually have on hand? And why pick on poor, under trained tanning salon attendants? At least convenience store clerks are kind of expecting it and probably have some training.

Anyway, maybe she made off with some free tanning tokens or something, too. Probably a good idea not to use them at that same store, though.
